Based on a comedy routine made famous by Sammy Davis Jr., the “Judge” was a Pontiac GTO package first offered in 1969. It was meant to compete with the Plymouth Road Runner and featured a Hurst shifter, wider tires, and a rear spoiler (claimed to have performance effects at high speeds, though it offered very little for standard drivers).
Painted in eye-catching orange, this 1/18 scale, die cast model is a reproduction of the inaugural “Judge” and features an opening hood (revealing a detailed engine), opening doors, a well-equipped interior (including black bucket seating, a shifter, and real-working steering), an opening trunk, a signature rear spoiler, treaded rubber tires, a 1969 license plate, authentic badging, and a realistic undercarriage. Measures approximately 10½” long.
