Gas prices were creeping up and emissions standards were tightening, signaling the muscle car era was ending fast. But amid this backdrop, there emerged a wolf in sheep’s clothing. As beneath the familiar LeMans sheet metal, a potent 455 cubic-inch V8 lurks ready to pounce on unsuspecting opponents.The vinyl top version finished in Monarch yellow is an extremely rare model. It is one of only 7 that were produced with the 455 H.O. engine combined with an automatic transmission.
