First flown on May 10, 1972, the A-10 Thunderbolt II was an attack aircraft used to defend ground forces from tanks, armored vehicles and other ground targets.
This 1/72 scale, Hobby Master, die cast model of the A-10C Thunderbolt II features markings from the USAAF 355th FW and 354th FS, as well as a paint scheme that resemble a WWII era P-51 Mustang. Also included, is a 30 mm gatling-gun barrel with cooling vents, a hinged canopy and a well-equipped interior with instrument panels, a Pave Penny pod below the cockpit, removable under-wing mounted ordnance, realistic panel lines, surface details, landing gear, a detailed underside, and a presentation stand.
