Features

Tim Mee Toy Air Support includes 2 helicopters and is proudly manufactured in the United States. Includes an attack and a Transport Helicopter. Both aircraft are approximately 1:50 scale and measure 8 inches long (not including rotors) and 2.75 inches wide and tall. Made from sturdy HDPE OD-Green color plastic with very little flashing and medium detail. The first versions of these helicopters were produced in the mid-1990’s by Processed Plastic Co. (Tim Mee Toy’s parent company at the time) and were usually offered in bulk bins along with an assortment of other aircraft. At some point they were slightly modified to make the interiors plastic injection tooled as part of the lower fuselage to simplify manufacturing. These were likely inspired by classic TV shows and movies of the 1980s like Airwolf and Blue Thunder. The attack chopper resembles the McDonnell Douglas / Bell Helicopter LHX concept design and the Transport copter is also likely a concept aircraft.
