The kit is intended for experienced modellers.
This is a limited run kit using unfamiliar technology (to some modellers) and as such presents different challenges and realities vs expectations
There are discreet layer lines on some bottom surfaces – an unavoidable part of the production process – where they are unavoidable they have been oriented so as to be less prominent on the top surface, a quick prime with Mr surfacer 1500 and a 800 / 1000 sanding sponge will clear them up.
There may be what look like ‘wet spots’ this is essentially a remnant of the post cure process where the entire raw part is washed in 99.9% pure alcohol (IPA). As the part is stood to dry any residual resin particles move as the alcohol evaporates to the lowest hanging spot where it finally dries. This is not removable it is dry to the touch and a particle thick so would not show underpaint.
The nose ring at the spinner is where the supports for the part attach which will need clean up – there is no way to produce the part without supports and their remnants when removed. Work is needed here sanding filling and shape refinement.
Bottom join of midsection fuselage & Wing Roots – Unfortunately these are not clean seams due to limitations in production – use the nose and tail as orienting parts when assembling the centre sections as the critical joint is where they meet. There will be a need to fill gaps.
