AK Interactive AK-8200 Anti-Slip Texture (30ml sand, 15ml cement)

Anti-slip texture is a common feature on most IDF vehicles, especially armour. Many products are already available on the market but not all produce a decent result. However AK Interactive have a two component product that’s ideal for anti-slip texture in 1/35 scale (AK8200). It consists of a glue and a fine grainy powder. Applying this product is fairly easy and straightforward, although we recommend that you work in small sections at the time. Curious as to how it works? Let’s get started!
Two-component product to create realistic anti-slip texture in scale models:
1. Spread the adhesive liquid over the previously delimitated surface of the model.
2. Pour the silica over the surface covered with cement. Make sure you cover the entirework area.
3. Remove the excess sand. The anti-slip texture is ready for priming.
