The Type 59 no. 28 is in the Italian colors since it is driven by Tazio Nuvolari who entered the car himself. It should be noted that he left the Scuderia violently at the end of 1933. An additional fuel tank appears to the left of the driver. He wears a brown leather outer jacket on the driver suit. He is 5th position on the starting grid. While he is in 3rd place, he is slowed down by brake problems and finishes 5th two laps behind the winner Guy Moll on the Alfa Romeo Tipo B no. 20 while the no. 22 had to give up 5 laps before the end.
Nicely done in 1/18 scale by LeMans Miniatures this is the 1934 Bugatti 59 driven to a 5th place finish at Monaco GP by Tazio Nuvolare. This is mounted on a base, and with piano wire wheels. LeMans Miniatures has announced they will return to making static high end resin models. This is a high quality sealed body resin cast model. This is mounted on a custom base and a special custom box.
