The de Havilland Mosquito was a British twin-engine, multi-role combat aircraft used extensively during World War II. Nicknamed the “Wooden Wonder” due to its lightweight wooden construction, the Mosquito was remarkably fast and versatile, serving as a bomber, fighter, reconnaissance plane, and night fighter.
