The product is designed with a snap-fit system that does not require adhesive. The main parts are represented by color-coded plastic parts, and some color tones are reproduced with realistic stickers that have excellent surface tracking properties. All assembly methods are snap-in type, and both offshore and full hull types can be produced by dividing the parts at the waterline. The product is designed to reproduce two different periods. The appearance before the No. 21 radar was installed shortly after completion (August to September 1942) / The period when the radar was installed, lined up with Yamato at Truk Island, Emperor Showa’s visit, and when it became the flagship of the Combined Fleet can be reproduced (September 1942 to April 1944). The bridge top is white, which indicates that it belongs to the Combined Fleet, and is reproduced with the molded color. The wooden deck parts are beige, unlike the black molded color used during Operation Shoichi. The attached stickers include the Emperor’s flag and the Admiral’s flag, allowing you to reproduce the appearance of Emperor Showa’s visit and the time when Koga Mineichi, Commander-in-Chief of the Combined Fleet, was on board. Etching parts are included to express the details that are difficult to reproduce with injection parts. Etching parts include handrails, 21 radar, ladders, etc.
