Electrical tool to bend and bending slats, needed during the construction of wooden models of boatyards such as HMS Victory, Sansima Trinida and many others. Bender for slats will also be applied in the construction of aircraft dioramas, etc.
Working principle is very simple, just soak a slat in warm water and then lay it on the wooden block for slats profiling and form the desired shape with a heated tip. Block for profiling slats has two additional semi-circular holes to be able if necessary for form a slat shaped “U”. If you want to bend the thick slats should do it progressively in order not to break the slats.

The whole set is packed in a practical wooden box whose upper flap serves as a handle to the tip.
