A light armored vehicle produced by Ford, the M8 Greyhound made its debut with Allied forces in 1943. Though considered too lightly armored by the British, it did prove particularly mobile as an on-road support vehicle. Nearly eight decades after its introduction, it remains in service with many military forces around the globe.
Made by Hobby Master, this 1/72 scale, die cast model replicates an M20 &#8212 a heavy machine gun-equipped variant of the M8 &#8212 serving with the U.S. Army during the Battle of the Bulge. It features a realistic M2 machine gun, side-mounted accessories, free-rolling treaded tires, historic markings, and a removable display base. Measures approximately 2¾” long.
