Commonly referred to as the “bread bag,” the M31 haversack &#8212 based on a late 19th century design &#8212 was adopted by the Wehrmacht in 1931. It was used throughout the war and, though as its name suggests, it was meant for rations, the bag was also used by German soldiers for other personal items. A strikingly authentic reproduction of the M31, this canvas bag features an adjustable shoulder strap, a closeable main compartment, and 1940 markings. 11″x 10″.
