With an estimated service between 1962 and 1980, the M60A1 &#8212 also known as JJOODA “Hangman” &#8212 belongs to the Battalion Headquarters Company of the U.S. 7th Army based in Germany. In 1963, the 3rd Battalion, 32nd Armored Regiment moved to Germany and assigned the 3rd Armored Division “Spearhead” to defend the Fulda Gap. The M60A3 started to replace the A1 in 1978. 5½” long.
