The battle that marked the beginning of World War II, the Invasion of Poland was a joint invasion of the country by Germany, the Soviet Union, the Free City of Danzig, and a small Slovak contingent, which began on September 1, 1939 and ended on October 6 with Germany and the Soviet Union dividing and annexing the whole of Poland. Strikingly hand-painted, this 1/30 scale metal figure replicates a Polish trooper on horseback aiming his lance, just as he would’ve appeared in combat on those fateful days. Measures approximately 3″ tall.
