The Republic F-105F Thunderchief was the two-seat trainer and Wild Weasel conversion of the famed F-105 strike fighter, an aircraft that became synonymous with high-speed, low-level attack missions during the Vietnam War. Originally designed as a supersonic nuclear strike aircraft, the Thunderchief evolved into a conventional strike platform capable of carrying heavy bomb loads deep into hostile territory.
