U-boat Molch (Type xxVI) was a German submarine of the last years of World War II, which was developed from 1944 onwards. It was designed as a kind of special submarine intended for use in surveillance and special missions. Although it was never built or used on a large scale, the newt represents the advanced technical ideas and developments that were pursued towards the end of the war.
