Kit Features & Gimmicks

Articulation

• The head can rotate or tilt back and forth via a preassembled ball-and-double neck joint.

  • Be pulled upward for extra articulation.
  • Swing back and forth.
• The arms can…
  • Swing on a shoulder frame.
  • Raise horizontally. (Depending on how you bent, the cables may hinder its articulation.)
• The upper arms can rotate.
• The elbows and knees are double-jointed.
• The wrist joints can slightly pivot.
• The manipulators…
  • Can swivel on a ball-and-socket joint.
  • Feature 3+1+1 articulation on the poseable hands’ fingers.
• The waist can turn 360 degrees.
• The upper thighs can swing frontwards/backwards on a peg, raise horizontally on a ball-and-socket joint, and/or rotate on each piece.
• The ankles can swivel in a limited manner, or tilt sideways.
• The two-piece front feet can pivot.

Weapons/Other Gimmicks

• The hands are swappable.
• Any of the weapons can be wielded by either the poseable or fixed holding hands. (the latter is recommended for gripping stability)
• GN Drive can be optionally removed from the back.
• The clavicle antennas can be flipped up and down.
• The cockpit hatch can be opened and closed.
• GN Sword can convert into Rifle or Sword mode.
• GN Long Blade and GN Short Blade can be mounted on flip-out pegs at either hip.
• GN Beam Saber handles can be optionally removed from the shoulder armors as handheld weapons.
• GN Beam Dagger handles can be optionally removed from the rear skirt armors as handheld weapons.
• The alternate Beam Saber hilts with molded pegs can also be used for gripping stability.
• The side panels of the GN Shield convert to form “expansion mode” via minor parts rearrangement.
• Gundam Exia can mount onto the Action Base via an adapter.

Tips and Tricks

• For better results:
  • The parts can be panel-lined with Gundam Markers.
  • The kit can be sprayed with Mr. Hobby Top Coat.
• If using matte/flat-finish top coat, it is advisable not to spray on the clear/translucent, chromed, and the soft parts – can be done by masking or spraying top coat while the said parts are separated.
• Exercise caution while trimming the 1/144 Setsuna figurine from the runner: The molded burrs on the very thin areas (such as the arms) may snap off while trimmed with excessive strength.
