To make your M142 HIMARS model look truly realistic, we’ve created highly accurate wheel sets!
M142 HIMARS is one of the most recognized modern artillery systems, known for its precision strikes and mobility. We’ve developed four wheel set variations in 1/72 scale to help bring scale models of the HIMARS closer to their real-life counterpart:
WM 72002 – Ordinary Wheel Set without CTIS.
WM 72002S – Sagged Wheel Set without CTIS.
WM 72003 – Ordinary Wheel Set with CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System)
WM 72003S – Sagged Wheel Set with CTIS (Central Tire Inflation System)
In developing these sets, we studied countless reference photos, videos, and field samples to accurately reproduce the tread pattern, sidewall shapes, tire sag under weight, and even subtle technical features. As a result, the sets cover varying levels of deformation.
3D printing enabled a level of detail simply not achievable with standard rubber tires included in typical kits. Once installed, these wheels give your model a convincing appearance – conveying the sense of weight, usage, and true scale.
