Used briefly at the end of World War II, the M26 Pershing &#8212 a heavy tank named after General John Pershing of the Great War &#8212 is most famous for its role in Korea. In an effort to match the firepower of the King Tiger’s 88mm KwK 43 weapon,a handful of “Super Pershings” were sent into service in the final stages of World War II &#8212 equipped with a higher-capacity T15E1 gun.
Replicating a T26E4 Super Pershing, this quality 1/35 scale plastic kit features a realistic suspension system, a choice of vinyl tracks or individual links, a full-bow machine gun, a detailed engine compartment (with bulkhead, motor, and transmission), photo-etched accents, a separate crew and engine deck hatch, a multi-piece main gun barrel, a turret counterweight, stowage bins (with separate lids), periscopes, and authentic markings. Assembly required. Skill level 3. Measures approximately 7¼” long.
