This 1/350 scale model assembly kit recreates the ”the Lucky Destroyer” which fought at the Ten-Ichi-Go operation in April 1945.
The Yukikaze was the eighth Kagero-class destroyer, completed in 1940, and earned a legendary reputation for surviving numerous major Pacifi battles during WWII-including Midway, Guadalcanal, and Leyte Gulf. Known as ”the Lucky Destroyer, she emerged from the war largely unscathed, later serving post-war repatriation effrts andcontinuing her legacy with the Republic of China Navy into the 1960s.
