The air defence of Malta became desperate. Spitfires were ferry on HMS Eagle and USS Wasp in a desperate attempt to re-supply the RAF. Adhoc coats of blue paint was often added to the aircraft by hand prior to the aircraft leaving ship. This set includes only the camouflage pattern. Serial numbers, code letters and other markings are not included.
