Beaufighter (often called the Beau) originally conceived as a heavy fighter. I also proved to be an effective night fighter. I was used in many roles; receiving the nicknames Rockbeau for its use as a rocket-armed ground attack aircraft and Torbeau as a torpedo bomber. It replaced the Beaufort. It served with, RAF
Coastal Command, RAAF)RCAF,USAAF,RNZF, SAAF and Polish Sqn.
Post war it saw service with the IDF being bought under the preext of being used to make a film.
This set includes only the camouflage pattern. Serial numbers, code letters and other markings are not included.
