The WC54 Ambulance was a modified version of the Dodge WC series, used extensively by the U.S. military during World War II for casualty evacuation and medical support. Powered by a 6-cylinder engine, it was capable of carrying up to four stretchers or a combination of stretchers and seated patients. The vehicle’s body was fitted with windows for ventilation, medical supplies storage, and space for a small medical team. With its 4×4 drivetrain, the WC54 could navigate rough terrain to reach casualties in the field. It was essential in providing rapid medical care and transporting wounded soldiers to field hospitals.
